On May 22nd (Saturday) and 23rd (Sunday),
Frolicking Ponds® will be hosting its
3rd Annual Watergarden, Patio
and Putting Green Tour.

This self-guided tour will spotlight 10-15 (or more) water gardens, Patios, and Golf Scapes throughout the Triangle area.

All participants will be given a self-guided directory with site locations for the two-day tour (rain or shine). Tickets are $12 for both days (per adult - children free). Promotional items will be given out while supplies last.
The real benefit to getting others to participate in this event is the opportunity to spread the word about the vital work of The ECHO Foundation.

The ECHO Foundation of Wake County.

The ECHO ( Erin Chaffee’s Hope for Others ) Foundation of Wake County was established in 1999 by her family, in loving memory of Erin Chaffee.
The Foundation supports community youth activities and educational programs, and provides for those organizations in which Erin was actively involved.

One program in particular has touched us tremendously. This program is called ECHO ExCELS (Excellence for Children – Erin’s Learning Site), a "free tutoring center" is their largest project. It is a nurturing learning environment centered on assisting any student, kindergarten through 5th grade, who is not achieving up to their potential in the regular classroom and who cannot afford a tutor. These students are paired 1-on-1 with a teen "tutor."
Their lessons are individualized, planned and supervised by certified teachers for one hour sessions each week.

The Foundation has 501(c)3 status and is a non-profit charitable organization that is tax exempt and for which donations are tax deductible.
